A typical day consists of: Sailing (usually 3-6 hours) after breakfast to a new location, then exploring and snorkeling. Options are discussed at breakfast and your specific desires discussed.

The Bahama Outislands offer deserted islands and beaches with no footprints, caves to snorkel in (as featured in Thunderball 007), quaint villages with friendly people, shopping in native straw markets, trying your luck in the casinos, photographing endangered rock iguanas, seeking the mysterious "blue holes" in the interior of some islands, numerous wrecks to snorkel, and trolling for big game fish such as Mahi-Mahi or Tuna.

The AMAROK has also served as a mobile base for guided flyfishing and bonefishing trips. There are also many rare and seldom seen migratory ocean birds. Occasionally whales are seen in the deep blue.

All Bahamas cruises are six or thirteen days long. Embarkation is at 0830 on Sunday mornings, with a return at 1600 on Friday afternoons. A six-day cruise is six days and five nights.

Blue Water Sailing School - At Blue Water Sailing School we help you fulfill your dreams by teaching you the skills and techniques to be a competent captain.

You start your education with Basic Sailing, advance to Basic Coastal Cruising, learn boat systems, anchoring in Bareboat Chartering, navigate by eye and instrument in Coastal Navigation, make a passage to the Bahamas in Advanced Coastal Cruising, find your way by sun and stars in Celestial Navigation, and tie it all together in Offshore Passagemaking.

We are one of the only sailing schools in the United States to offer all levels of the American Sailing Association program. You can be assured of the finest training available in sailing, navigation and seamanship. Whether you are an absolute beginner or an experienced coastal sailor we can extend your horizons and expand your knowledge and skills.

Cat Ppalu Cruises - The Cat Ppalu is a sailing catamaran. Cat Ppalu's interior decor is casual elegance, with no amenity overlooked. She accommodates up to 12 guests in six comfortable private cabins. The main salon provides a comfortable air conditioned area for meals, socializing or simply relaxing.

The starboard hull is equipped with an underwater window so you'll always have a view of the sea! She carries a crew of captain, dive instructor, engineer and chef. It is the perfect boat for family or small groups of friends on vacation. Besides diving you may participate in many eco adventures including feeding iguanas, snorkeling, kayaking, hiking nature trails, sailing and enjoying remote beaches.

Flying Cloud Private Charters

Half Day sailing and snorkelling cruises (3 1/2 hours)
Spend a morning or an afternoon sailing out to a beautiful secluded beach * where we drop anchor and you can swim and snorkel at your leisure. We supply free snorkelling gear and professional lessons if needed. As we're sailing or while we're anchored, cool off with refreshing tropical drinks. A complimentary Rum Punch and a soda are included.

Evening Cruise (2 1/2 hours)
What can be more romantic than sailing through Nassau Harbour as the lights of the city begin to shine or sailing around beautiful Paradise Island? Maybe the show put on by nature at dusk. Nibble on free hot and cold hors d'oeuvres or sip on a glass of wine or drink from our cash bar as you watch a spectacular Caribbean sunset. Dress casually.

Sunday Cruise (5 hours) including Lunch
Similar to the half day sailing and snorkeling cruise, but includes a visit to world-famous Rose Island beach * and its gorgeous coral reefs. Choose your favourite activity: extra snorkeling, explore the island, tan on the beach or play volley-ball and games. Also includes a delicious BBQ'd ribs and chicken buffet with salads, Bahamian peas 'n rice and fruits. Served on board in comfort and shade. A wonderful fun experience for families and couples.

Dinner Cruise (by charter booking only)
Flying Cloud offers superb dinner cruises by private charter. Our spacious decks and friendly hospitality make us ideal for groups and wedding parties. Select our famous Bahamian 3 course dinner with wine, conch chowder, sumptuous entrees, local delicacies pie and coffee. Enjoy drinks from our cash bar as you glide toward a quiet secluded cove for a candlelit dinner.
