cruising visitors will first enter the magnificent Rodney Bay.
It was Admiral Nelson's first choice anchorage and was in fact named after
Admiral Rodney.
Today there is access to two
inner lagoons, one of which includes the
Rodney Bay Marina that plays host each year to the ARC
transatlantic yachts which arrive in December after crossing from the Canary
Islands. (Courtesy of DSL Yachting.)
Endless Summer
Cruises - Seeing St. Lucia from the sea is a real treat, sometimes the
boats are accompanied by playful dolphins as they sail down the calm Caribbean
sea. The catamarans are large and very stable with plenty of seating for
relaxing and chatting, with enough room to walk around and even dance if the
mood takes you! The netting on the front of the boat is a great place to sit or
lie and soak up the sun and watch the sea pass beneath you.
